Our partnership with Warrington Youth Club

Established in 1952, Warrington Youth Club (WYC) has been the heart and soul of its community for decades. Dedicated to helping thousands of disadvantaged children in the local area, its ethos is to ‘inspire young people to achieve’.

WYC empowers young people to get involved in a range of services that will increase their confidence and self-esteem, and support them through to adulthood. It offers them life choices that they don’t currently have, showing them ways to improve their futures.

Over the years, our employees have taken part in a number of fundraising activities with WYC, from climbing Kilimanjaro and trekking the Three Peaks, to our annual Golf Event and Gala Dinner. In addition to this, a number of our employees are also mentors at the youth club.

Exciting plans are well under way to transform the club to become Warrington Youth Zone — a £6.9 million, iconic state-of-the-art, 3,200 square metre facility with the capacity to transform the lives of more than 7,000 young people in the area. Developed in partnership with national charity OnSide Youth Zones, the team is aiming to officially open the Youth Zone in Spring 2022. We can’t wait to see the dream of a new centre become a reality, enabling WYC to help change the lives of many more young people in and around the Warrington area.
