Group Marketing Director
Brand guardian, Vimto fanatic and champion of all things refreshingly different.
My grandparents met over a glass of Vimto in a Temperance Bar in Manchester many moons ago, so it’s fair to say, if it weren’t for Vimto, I wouldn’t be here today. At the heart of our business are passionate people and great brands and I’ve felt privileged and proud to see this winning combination ensure the footprint of our business grows at home and around the globe.
My vision for Nichols’s future
From it’s creation in Manchester back in 1908, to today where the brand is bought by one in four households in the UK, Vimto continues to go from strength to strength. I’m passionate about building our portfolio of distinctive and well-loved brands, creating products consumers around the world love and offering healthier and more sustainable choices. Being true to our purpose of making life taste better for all our stakeholders is key, as is creating an environment where we celebrate and empower individuality and everyone has the opportunity to contribute, to learn and to grow.
What has been your experience working as part of Nichols?
The culture at Nichols is very special – warm, welcoming, collaborative and can-do. And that’s all down to the fantastic people here – our Vimto family. Every one of our team is a brand champion and lives and breathes our values, which is great to see and makes this a fantastic place to work.
Nichols beverage of choice
Has to be the one and only original Vimto No Added Sugar squash. But a Starslush on a hot day comes a close second.
Weekends are all about family time (I have two teenage daughters) and you’ll usually find me on a yoga mat or out and about somewhere green, walking our dog Frankie. I like to find time to try my hand at something new too – right now it’s cooking and painting – albeit with varying degrees of success!
