New kid on the block - proud to have grown with the Vimto family.

I joined Team Vimto back in August 2014 and haven’t looked back. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have first led the Sainsburys and Morrisons customer agendas, before taking ownership for how we ‘plan to win’ across the Major Multiple channel, and now the UK Packaged route to market. It’s been a privilege to work with such talented people across the group, take a secondment with our creatives in Marketing and be supported to complete my MBA. I’m passionate about giving people the same opportunities I’ve had in order to be the best they can be

My vision for Nichols’s future

In the next ten years, I see Vimto continuing the positive momentum, going from strength to strength and becoming a bigger, stronger brand across the UK by evolving into new categories and pack formats that better deliver against new consumer needs and occasion opportunities. Painting the country purple one drop at a time! We may even add to our brand portfolio if the right disruptive influence comes along to help us make life taste better!

What has been your experience working as part of Nichols / what makes it different/unique?

Working at Nichols gives you the opportunity to shape both yourself and your role in a way you simply can’t at the bigger FMCG blue chips. You get involved in a greater breadth of projects while being given ownership and authority to deliver from day one. It’s a potent mix of challenge and opportunity, with a people centric, values drive, supportive culture. We’re an ambitious, growing business that supports personal development and the opportunities to grow with us are evident, which is exciting for both current and future Vimtonians!

Nichols beverage of choice

Strawberry Slurp. It’s miles better than McDonalds’ Milkshake, but I can live without the brain freeze! We always have a bottle of Vimto NAS Cordial in the cupboard. It’s the law.


I was one of the first to ‘complete Netflix’. I’m a sucker for binge watching the latest show in the evenings. It’s a much needed form of escapism from the weekends that are full of the chaos that comes with being CEO (Chief Entertainment Officer) for our young family; Lola - seven, Dylan - four, and Caspar - two. Liverpool FC are close to my heart and I ‘enjoy’ running and cycling when I need to escape the weekend chaos or football results!

Life before Nichols:

I worked for five years in challenger brands across Sales and Category at Dr Oetker & Seabrook Crisps. I previously held senior roles across Category, Sales and Innovation at a Top 5 M&S supplier – helping to bring Melt in the Middle Puddings and Colin the Caterpillars to market. It was a tough job but someone had to do it! Before that, I started my working life running the Fox’s biscuits Crunch Cream line on night shifts. Lots of midnight snacks!

First-ever job:

Working the checkouts (briefly!) at Sainsbury’s Fallowfield.
