Camp Vimto

Improving the lives of young people who need it the most

Camp Vimto is our annual programme designed to help young people in our community build self-confidence, make connections, and develop new life skills.

Every year, we recruit a group of young people from secondary schools local to Laurel House, our HQ in the north west of England.

There a five stages to the programme:

  1. Presentation Workshop – a workshop to help develop self-confidence and presentation skills.
  2. Residential – a two-day outdoor adventure course where the young people build new relationships and develop new skills.
  3. Farm 2 Fizz – a Dragons Den inspired day at Laurel House, introducing the young people to different departments in the business, and giving them the chance to develop and design a new soft drink, which they then pitch to senior managers at Nichols.
  4. Best Foot Forward – mentoring sessions that help build the young people’s confidence, skills and mindset to embrace the outside world.
  5. Graduation – an end of Camp Vimto celebration in the form of a graduation ceremony at Laurel House.
